Project Manager - HME Assembly

The Opportunity 
This company is one of Australia's Leading Mining Organisation that has interests in multiple coal mines throughout Australia. They have a highly successful record in developing and maintaining world class operations and therefore offer unrivalled career opportunities. They are seeking a Electrical Project Manager to work out of their Mackay based office with travel to different sites as required to manage the builds of their Heavy Mobile Equipment. 

The Role 
In this role you will be reporting to the Customer Support Manager and your main responsibility will be to ensure that the delivery, assembly and builds of the Mobile Equipment across QLD mine sites are completed in a timely manner and within budget. You will project manage the transport, assembly, build and introduction of HME onto the sites. It is essential that you set expectations and continually liaise with suppliers to achieve the maximum planned rate in the shortest possible time. 

This will involve you; 

• Project managing HME from Procurement to Commissioning
• Developing and maintaining key relationships with OEM's and stakeholders
• Project managing the storage and disposal of retired equipment
• Continuously improving processes and suggesting more effective methods of delivery

The Requirements 
This role will require someone that has experience in the maintenance of heavy mobile equipment and the building of these machines as well. Furthermore, strong project and time management experience is crucial coupled with strong budgeting and commissioning skills. Electrical Trade Qualification or an Electrical Engineering Qualification is desirable.

The Incentives 
You will be working a flexible 5/2 roster out of Mackay and be rewarded with a base salary between $120,000 and $130,000. There is also a location allowance + super + bonuses + vehicle.
