Senior Mechanical Engineer

With this project in the construction phase and having recently received approval for phase B of the project, the client will invest a further $5 billion making this one of the largest mining projects in WA. There is now an urgent need for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to come on board and make a real impact. Working for such a globally recognised EPCM is not an opportunity to be missed.


General duties and responsibilities will be to: 

• To be able to assist with any design alterations or design faults 
• Planning and Scheduling for the overall completions on mechanical progress of the project 
• Guidance and mentoring to site and project engineering staff 
• Liaise with key stakeholders to define and implement effective and efficient engineering solutions 
• The management of nominated engineering packages 
• Overseeing work processes for the production of the engineering deliverables

As this is a major materials handling project, all applicants must show a proven track record in working on large scale mining projects and for the client or EPCM.


As an ideal candidate you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (Mechanical) 
• You MUST have a proven track record in Heavy Industrial Construction Projects preferably mining/materials handling 
• At Least 15 years industry experience 
• An Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
