This advantage coupled with their commitment to research and development enables them to deliver high quality, innovative solutions for all types of mining, transportation, bulk materials handling, loading and drilling activities.


Their Mackay Office is looking to recruit a Human Resources and Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor who will support the HS&E Manager in execution of HS&E related activities.


This will include:

• Ensuring all role activities are carried out in accordance with relevant legislative, client and VLI requirements
• The Management of injuries including Claim Management and Workers Compensation.
• Audit VLI Compliance
• Reporting
• Establishing compliance program criteria and Best Practise Audit Plans in-line with Industry standards
• Utilisation of internal relationships to help establish auditing of service contracts
• Recruitment and Selection
• Organising Training programs
• Assist Managers with developing colleague workplans and development programs
• Providing assistance and advice regarding employee relations issues
• Participation in HR/HS&E investigations as required
• Effective employee communication

The Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• Experience in both Human Resources and Health, Safety & Environment advisor roles
• Auditing Experience
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
• Microsoft Office Product experience
• Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act. Modern Award, EEO and OH&S
