H & S Coodinator

This global company provides engineering, management and specialist technical services to both private and public sector clients.  They deliver technically complex projects throughout a wide variety of industries, and have a strong commitment to leading-edge technology, innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the training of contractors, visitors and others on health and safety requirements for project specific site/s
  • Promote Health and Safety awareness by conducting safety presentations, training, risk assessments, safety audits and project site inductions.
  • Keep the project site emergency plan and site safety management plan up to date
  • Carry out and coordinate specific Safety requirements.
  • Keep the Safety Management System up to date and utilised to its full potential
  • Effectively influence and promote a positive safety culture
The following experience/skills are required for this position
  • Demonstrate significant experience in a health & safety role utilising skills in policy and procedure development, incident investigation and internal auditing. 
  • Experience in mining/resources and/or construction will be highly regarded.
  • A Certificate IV Training & Assessment and/or Certificate IV in Health and Safety
