HSE Coordinator

Our client is the premier Construction Contractor in WA that prides itself in innovation, quality design, construction and a commitment to Health & Safety. With projects recently acquired and valued at $100m+, the client is currently looking for a HSE coordinator with resources experience that has a desire for career progression. 


Key Responsibilities:

As HSE Coordinator the main responsibilities will be to support, mentor and assist the Construction Manager, Project Managers and site staff on the HSE system put in place. 


Duties will include: 

• Implementing appropriate behaviours for health and safety through education and training. 
• Liaise with the relevant statutory authorities and conduct incident investigations 
• Conduct meetings and inspections to ensure that all parties comply with the OH&S documentation requirements. 
• Facilitating toolbox and committee meetings 
• Report on problems or areas for improvement 

Key Requirements: 

• Tertiary qualification in OH&S 
• 5 Years mining or construction industry experience 
• 3+ years experience in a similar HSE role 
• knowledge of AS4801 and ISO14001 
• Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation within WA
