Environmental Advisor - 7/7 Roster

This is an excellent opportunity to join the environmental team of an international mining company during an exciting phase of growth and development. Currently in the process of developing a large scale Greenfield project they require an experienced Environmental Advisor to provide specialist advice during exploration works.

Reporting to the Exploration manager you will be responsible for:

• Implementing and maintaining the environmental management system (EMS), and environmental management plan (EMP) 
• Ensuring environmental compliance 
• Environmental inspections and monitoring 
• Training and communicating environmental requirements to staff and contractors 

To be successful in this role you will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental  Science or related discipline 
• Strong site based environmental experience within mining or civil construction 
• Superior legislative and regulatory knowledge 
• Environmental Systems (ISO14001) experience including auditing 
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills 
• Hard working and outcome driven
