Diesel Fitter/Mechanic

Manpower in Emerald is seeking expressions of Interest for suitably qualified diesel Mechanics, fitters and Diesel Fitters from opportunities with a highly reputable mine Services Company working in the QLD coal industry.

Located in Emerald QLD you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of above and below ground mobile plant equipment in the coal mining industry. Initially you will be working in a workshop environment however with full training provided you will move into working on the mine sites of some of the largest Coal produces in Australia. Some essential requirements are listed below.

• You must be willing to relocate to Emerald in QLD for these opportunities.
  
• A trade qualification as a diesel fitter, fitter and turner, diesel mechanic is essential
  
• Current drivers licence
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Previous mining experience is not essential

These roles will be offered as a contract position however after an initial qualifying period there is the possibility you will be offered a fulltime permanent role. As this company is willing to offer you an opportunity to earn well in excess of $100,000 a year as well full training and put you through all the required inductions we will be seeking people who possess excellent work ethics, are reliable and demonstrate loyalty.
