Construction and Life Safety Tech. Job Description:

• Successful candidate will have 1-5 years’ experience in healthcare compliance with an understanding of the construction/healthcare interface. In addition, the candidate will have a basic understanding of the roll of the Joint Commission, the Local Fire Department and Building officials in compliance activities. The candidate will also have a B.S. degree in a related field (safety, industrial hygiene). A working knowledge of Life Safety Code relative to healthcare occupancies; TJC regulations and standards and active membership in a healthcare related professional organization such as ASHE is highly desired.
• Successful candidate must demonstrate competency in consulting and advising clients. Individual must be highly organized, confident, self-motivated and able to synthesize data and information quickly and effectively. Travel within Boston and the New England area and periodic travel nationally is required; must provide own vehicle and have a valid driver’s license, and must be able to wear a respirator.
