Structural Engineer
Structural Engineer Job Description:
- Provide steel and concrete framing layout and sketches for heavy industrial buildings.
- Produce structural and concrete calculations
- Check plans for accuracy and completion according to applicable building code and material codes and standards.
- Coordinate and supervise work of other Civil/Structural engineers and designers.
- Responsible for the preparation of the discipline specifications, bill of material, engineering procurement requisitions, manpower planning, man hour control, progress reports and any other document pertaining to project execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8-10 years of Structural design experience in the Heavy Industrial sector (mining or oil and gas industry).
- PE in Structural Engineering highly desirable
- Proficient in RISA-3D, STAAD PRO, and IN ROADS Software is a plus
- Proficient in seismic/wind design and International Building Code (IBC)
