Austcorp have 3 clients within the Gosford area that design and manufacture large Material Handling, Heavy Steel and Industrial equipment. We are currently looking for at least 5 Design Draftsmen with either degrees or TAFE diplomas to hit the ground running on large engineering projects.
Offering fantastic packages up to $110,000 which is above the market rate for the Central Coast.
The successful Designer’s daily responsibilities will involve:
· Design Conveyor Products
· Design Bulk Material Handling Products
· Liaise with different teams and departments
· Interacting with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
· Scheduling / Planning – SAP inputting
· 3D design – with AutoCAD & Inventor
· Producing detailed Drawings / Schematics and Manufacturing
· Learn to become an expert with Vault.
· Liaising with suppliers, customers and business directors on a daily bases.
· Manage your own conceptual and detailed design and development of new and existing material handling designs.
· Creation and selection of BOM’s along with Senior Engineers.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
· TAFE qualified or Degree qualified Design Draftsman
· 5 years designa & Drafting experience
· Previous Material Handling or Machinery Design is essential – conveyor, longwall, special purpose machinery, food processing machinery etc
· Pneumatic and hydraulic machine drafting would be beneficial
· Strong system knowledge in AutoCAD or 3D Inventor or other 3D packages
· Ability to prepare design layouts on own
· Some ERP / MRP / or SAP exposure
· Document control
