An experienced and well-established Mining Manager is required to join this coal mining operation in Central Queensland to lead and provide continuous improvement solutions to existing operations. Reporting directly to the Project GM, you will be responsible for the development and management of mining site personnel, whilst at the same time maintain key KPI’s regarding site production.
Key responsibility areas within this role will involve, the direct management of supervisory and superintendent level staff, health, safety and environment obligations, operational effectiveness, the preparation and monitoring of budgets and annual financial performance, as well as machinery maintenance and identification of business growth and development strategies.
As one of this Nation’s largest mining companies, my Client requires a highly experienced and qualified Mining Manager to lead this site to further operational success.
You will bring the following skills and experience to this position:
- OCE Ticket
- Significant experience in a management capacity within an open cut coal environment
- Possession of S1,S2,S3 and G2 Coal Competencies
- Strong ability to utilise mine operating packages
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interpret mine plans
