Project Engineer

Our Client is a well renowned leader in the design, development and construction of mineral processing who is seeking to employ Project Engineer. This person will have had previous experience managing projects ranging from OEM crusher supply to full design and construct project such as turnkey crushing plants or conveyors and bulk handling solutions.


In this diverse and challenging role you will be required to have bulk handling experience with roller crushers/sizers, conveyors and hoppers etc.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing all relevant contractors involved such as design consultants, electrical, civil, bulk handling specialist and fabricators etc.
• Interpreting engineering drawings to provide technical support for all parties
• Determining schedules consisting of resource allocation, material procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
• Design risk assessments to ensure plants meet clients specifications
• Quality checks of manufactured components to ensure they are built to drawings, client specifications and Australian Standards
• Compilation of all quality documentation and MDR's
• Other ad-hoc duties

The successful candidate will need to have a tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar. In addition you will have ability to assess work practices, execute systems and suggest options where necessary along with the ability to meet targets. Excellent communication and the talent to deal and present to clients and other engineering disciplines are a must. Salary is dependent on experience, however the client always exceeds market rate. Initially this will be a Perth based position for six months but will turn to FIFO from then on.
