Education & Training Advisor

WYN Recruitment is now looking for a Training Advisor to assist with a large mining project in QLD for a well-known Client Company.  As the Education and Training Advisor role you will coordinate all training matters whether this is in HSE, internal systems or career development and progression etc.  This role will support the day-to-day performance of the construction and office staff to ensure that they are fully equipped with the knowledge they need to accomplish their objectives. 


Other duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Coordinating and conducting onsite training and assessment 
• The maintenance of all training records 
• Coordinating and conducting workplace inspections, task observations, incident investigation and reporting 
• Coordinating compliance with statutory regulations 
• Collation of data and information to contribute to the delivery of an annual targeted and planned training analysis 
• Consistently reviewing and improving training packages 
• Planning and scheduling training courses 
• Diploma or graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline is highly desirable

This site based, full time role will not only assist with the origination of training documentation, the development of training course, the organization of training course and the monitoring of staff development.  The main focus for the Training Coordinator will be to ensure all site based staff are compliant with internal best codes of conduct and Australian industry standards.  The role will play a key part in establishing all procedures relating to the administration of training materials, courses and certification.


As an ideal candidate you will possess:

• Previous experience of working within a large construction and engineering workforce. 
• A successful track record of 3 yrs plus of delivering training materials to project staff.  
• Strong organisational skills. 
• Certification in a recognised training qualification (Cert IV etc).
