WYN Recruitment are set to recruit for a world leading EPCM who provides services to government and private sector clients and has around 7000 staff worldwide working numerous projects. For this new project (worth over $1 billion) we will be seeking a Civil Site Superintendent for a brand new coal mining project based in on the east coast of Australia, which will be looking at recruiting 100 people for this project with a giant estimated life span!


The project, which is now underway will require you to work to off site in the office for approximately one month before heading to site. The role would be ideal for someone already located on the east coast as it offers a great lifestyle, based just miles from local towns along with giving you the chance to be home every night should you choose.  


This role will require an EPCM experienced Civil Site Superintendent who must be able to provide support to the Construction Manager along with the following duties:

• Monitor the work of contractors and consultants to ensure contract and project objectives are achieved or exceeded.
• Determine workforce requirements and coordinate operational plans.
• Schedule work to be performed and review work accomplished.
• Be able to review, analyse and provide technical expertise.
• Review the weekly progress, man-hours worked, percentage complete, performance and schedule.
• Liaise and support on site personnel.
• Monitor the activities of contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.

To be considered for the positions you MUST require: 

• 6 years minimum experience in Civil works.
• 5 years minimum experience as a Superintendent leading large teams.
• 4 years minimum experience working on EPCM projects.
• 5 years minimum mining experience.
• Be able to liaise with clients on all levels.
• Be able to lead and mentor large teams.
