Safety Coordinator
Safety Coordinator Job Description:
Must have:
- Must be open to 100% travel within Midwest area
- Minimum 2 years underground and overhead utility construction experience
- Certified first aid/CPR instructor
- Familiar with D.O.T and CDL requirements
- Candidate will perform safety inspections, audits, and accident investigations; conduct training; prepare reports in compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Assist project managers in supervision of project safety. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of special project safety, health and environmental procedures and policies. Assists in the identification and control of hazards created by company, subcontractor, or others through safety management, notification of supervisors and training. Conducts investigations of accidents involving injury, property damage, and or/potential of injury or property damage. Champions and maintains performance of company safety initiatives.
