Facilities Site Manager
Our Facilities Site Manager:
- Provides professional facilities maintenance and services for the project's real property, including all production and support areas.
- Plans, directs, and evaluate group's maintenance operations by establishing work standards and evaluating the performance of the section's employees. Promotes team involvement in setting goals, priorities, and strategies for safe, effective, and efficient maintenance operations.
- Plans, coordinate and complete, using section's staff and/or outside contractors, new installations including alterations and modifications to existing infrastructure. Implements programs, policies, and procedures to improve operations, streamline work processes, increase quality of maintenance task performance, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide seamless customer service by diagnosing operational problems and recommending corrective actions.
- Manages the facilities maintenance backlog by analyzing workloads and ensuring work schedules are properly assigned to accomplish necessary tasks. If maintenance work is performed by outside contractor, coordinates and inspects the tasks performed.
- Analyzes and resolves scheduling and work issues or assists section's staff in solving task problems
- Interacts with client/tenants and vendors to monitor and report on areas of responsibilities
- Responds to emergencies as required and ensures the coordination of activities with other responders.
- Compiles data for daily operational reports, maintains inventory control of tools and related equipment, ensures accuracy and submission of payrolls
- May be required to submit and monitor budgets for assigned areas of responsibility as well as submitting and tracking orders for materials and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Degree with advanced technical training in one or more trades
- Minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible facility experience providing maintenance service for large entities in an industrial environment.
- Facility maintenance supervisory responsibility and varied technical experience
- Must have the ability to read and interpret complex drawings, plans, and technical specifications as well as regulatory and trade codes
- Must be able to develop and produce reports and metrics
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with all assigned employees and communicate with the activity's customers .
- Proven ability to retrieve, review, and otherwise use technical drawings to instruct others in their respective maintenance activities.
- Possess the ability to operate, maintain, and update the on-site computer maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Possess ability to effectively use various office softwares such as but not limited to word processing and spreadsheets.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other facility related systems
