Senior Mining Engineer

About the Company

Small ASX listed WA Resource company is now looking to develop a new project close to Kalgoorlie. As a result of recent acquisitions, the company now has a broad range of assets including gold, silver, zinc, copper and lead, plus additional advanced mineral exploration projects and a fully permitted processing facility. You will be working with an exciting new start-up project.
  
About the Role
In this role you will assist with all pre-production mining work and main duties will include the following -

• Drill & Blast Designs
• Completion of pit designs
• Scheduling and budgeting with a view to future open pit mining.

About You

You will be a tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with at least 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have a background in base and/or precious metals. This role has the potential to become a Quarry Manager's role so it would be a distinct advantage to hold a Mine Manager/Quarry Manager's ticket. A working knowledge of GEMS or Surpac would also be advantageous. Lastly you will need an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal. This is a residential position in Kalgoorlie.
