With over 10 years consultancy experience to the mining sectors in Australia, Africa, South American and the Far East, our client is well established and has developed long-standing relationships with some of Australia's best known Mining companies.
Their Brisbane office is urgently seeking a Mining Engineer with minimum of 4 years experience in Open Cut or Underground Coal. The role has emerged due to the company having to turn away work due to the amount of work coming their way
Within this role you will take responsibility for:
Working in small teams and fostering long term relationships
Short and Medium term mine planning tasks for clients to help increase mine viability
Developing other areas of the business to identify opportunities for adding value to clients and company
Carrying out site support projects in NSW & QLD
Safety and environmental procedures
To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:
Short & Medium Term Planning experience
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
Experience with softwares such as Vulcan, Minescape, Minex, Xact & Xpac
Demonstrated a track record or results and outcomes in previous roles
Minimum of 4 years Coal Mine engineering experience
