Having identified and purchased the necessary equipment and plant this organisation is poised to become a foremost player in the ore production market.
About the Role
This remarkable and exciting senior job opportunity will offer you the chance to build and select a team of talented engineers to meet production targets and bring this Brownfield project into production. As a dedicated leader you will be responsible for the completion of pit designs, drill and blast designs as well as the scheduling and budgeting for future mining operations.
With a significant opportunity to develop your career to the management level you will also be responsible for the management of the Mining Engineering team which will be selected in conjunction with senior management by the successful candidate.
About You
As a dedicated leader and experienced Senior Mine Engineer you will thrive in a team environment and be motivated by the challenge of mentoring and developing talented engineers for the future. With a keen eye to the future and with career development in mind you will possess or be in the process of obtaining either your Quarry Managers Certificate or First Class Mine Managers Certificate.
With operational experience with Mine Planning software i.e. Vulcan, Surpac, GEMS etc you will be more than capable of developing design plans and assisting with future operations planning.
As a proven leader you will also possess effective and efficient leadership, report writing and communication skills.
