Progressive Global Energy are delighted to have been retained by a leading Mining and Oil & Gas contractor. Established for over 50 years they are rapidly growing and are currently tendering for a $4 billion worth of projects. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the role is for a Senior estimator.
Key Requirements
-Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and/or Quantity Surveying
-Ideally 10+ years experience in an estimating position within the construction industry
-First principles knowledge
-Worked on teams which have won projects and demonstrated successful estimating
Your responsibilities will include:
-Preparing estimates for all major projects
-Maintain estimate records and archive
-Recommend staff and plant requirements for estimate
-Obtain sub-contractor and supplier quotations and assess
-Monitor projects being tendered and identify and immediately act upon, any areas of exposure or risk to margin
-Salary is $300k
Location is Perth
