My client has a national presence extending over 30 years as an engineering company which is proudly Australian owned. They have involvement in the design and construction of major infrastructure projects throughout Australia including bulk earthworks and mining infrastructure. This privately owned engineering company currently has a vacancy for a Project Manager within their office in Emerald office.
This role will suit a multi-disciplined civil project engineer looking to step up to a Project Management role and manage a range of engineering design and construction projects.


This position will have the following key responsibilities:
  • Project management of a diverse portfolio of projects
  • Management of key stakeholders including internal design teams, internal and external construction teams,  specialist consultants and clients
  • You will take responsibility for the timely delivery of projects within budgets

The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:
  • Have a solid background working on the client-side, consulting or contractor and can draw on their skills in order to effectively fulfil this project management role.
  • Possess a degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in design and documentation of civil works including earthworks and civil associated infrastructure.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in land development projects such as bulk earthworks, roads and mining infrastructure.
  • Knowledge and experience in Australian Standards and Council standards and codes is essential
