Civil Labourer / MR Driver
We have a Field Maintenance Services Depot located at Nuriootpa who are looking for a worker to join their Maintenance Gang.
The successful applicants will be working within a large team completing various tasks involving road, pavement and drainage maintenance as well as other environmental activities.
To be selected for this role you will require the following:
- Available to start asap
- The following tickets are essential:
- MR licence or higher
- Workzone Traffic Management Ticket
- White Card
As a member of the team, you may need to undertake a variety of road construction and maintenance activities on a daily basis, including:
- Sealed Pavement Maintenance - bitumen resurfacing, local shape correction, edge break repair, digouts, crack sealing, pavement sweeping, pothole repair.
- Drainage Maintenance - clear culverts, pits and drains, minor repair to curves, local scour repair, floodway maintenance.
- Road Furniture / Miscellaneous Maintenance - maintenance of signs and delineators, road user amenity maintenance, safety barrier work, grid maintenance, accident and vandalism repairs.
- Applicants will require to present a current resume, with relevant work experience and two checkable work referees. Your own car and licence is a must and must be available to commence in this role asap.
