Senior Geotechnical Engineer

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing Australian company in a key Perth based role, providing geotechnical expertise and technical support to the company’s various Australian operations. With a direct report to the head of the Technical Services team, you will play a key part in ensuring the success of operations by implementing effective geotechnical plans, carrying out investigations and studies where necessary and working closely with the Mine Planning Engineers to ensure all plans fully account for important geotechnical considerations. You will mentor and train other team members and report effectively on all results from your geotechnical analysis and on any suggested changes or plans to be implemented. 
 
You are an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with over 5 years experience in the mining industry and tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. You are an innovative, technically gifted problem-solver with the desire to excel and drive geotechnical excellence across multiple sites. Excellent communication skills and the ability to succeed at a senior level will see you flourish in this role.
