Due to the increased amount of projects, a Mechanical Engineer role exists with a growing  consultancy specialises in the design and installation of bulk materials handling equipment. With offices across Australia this trusted Engineering Services Provider gains its strength from its highly experienced team of Engineers, Drafters, Designers and Project leaders. 


Joining a highly motivated and experienced team of Engineers & Designers this role will see you carrying out the design and installation of conveyers, belt feeders, stackers, reclaimers, and various other materials handling equipment for major mining projects. You will review other Engineers work and lead the design team through concept to the delivery of the finished product. 


Must have’s include:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Mechanical Design experience
• Power and Tension Calculation Experience for Conveyers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bulk Materials handling experience within the Mining & Resources industry
• Planning, Forecasting and Project costing experience
• Slurry and transfer system knowledge
• RPEQ status or Eligibility
• Be able to Manage Engineers and Designers to produce quality work within strict deadlines
