Senior Mine Planning Engineer

This successful gold miner is seeking a proven Senior Mine Planning Engineer to join their Technical Services team. The company is an Australian gold company with multiple operations here in WA and elsewhere in Australia. As Senior Mine Planning Engineer you’ll provide technical expertise on design and scheduling, as well as assisting with budgeting, cost modelling and forecasting. You will engage in continual development and improvement of the Life of Mine plan and pit designs and be involved in a broad range of projects sure to always keep your skills put to the test.
 
You will possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and proven experience in an open pit mining environment, including experience in Mine Planning and Design. You will also bring knowledge of Mine Planning software such as Surpac, Vulcan or XPac. You will excel in this role with excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and the desire to test your ability in a unique operation.
