Senior Mine Engineer

A respected international organisation with multiple mine sites across Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer to join their flagship Queensland operation.


Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, your primary responsibilities will include assisting with budgeting, cost modeling and forecasting as well as developing the LOM plan strategy. Further on you will provide technical expertise across planning, design and scheduling as well as the evaluation of various projects.
 
To be successful you will have a degree in Mining Engineering and proven experience in an underground metalliferous mine environment. As you will be working in a multi-disciplinary team it is essential that you have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You will also be IT literate in mining specific software, preferably in Surpac.
