Mechanical Superintendent

Great long term opportunity for a Mechanical Superintendent to work on site for this landmark LNG project in QLD for this Tier 1 Contractor. With attractive rosters and a large site uplift this on going work opportunity is not to be missed.  


This is the opportunity to gain a long term role within the mining and minerals processing industry. Our major Tier 1 Contractor client is seeking several  highly skilled and industry experienced Mechanical Superintendant’s to work on this landmark Oil & Gas project in QLD. This role will be heavily involved within the mechanical work packages for the early works civils and mechanical phase.


Duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Make records of the project works as required by the Construction Manager
• Meet project deadlines and ensuring HSE standards
• Assist with maintaining detailed records of contractor’s progress against schedule and review with the Construction Managers measures necessary to ensure compliance with the project
• Monitor the work of contractors and consultants to ensure contract and project objectives are achieved or exceeded
• Maintain documentation relating to work on the contract
• Supervision of any extra works by contractors and preparation documentation verifying completion of the work and counter sign contractor’s hourly works time sheets

As an ideal candidate you will have:

• 5+ years experience as a superintendent
• 5+ years experience working within Tier 1 Contractor
• 10 years experience in mechanical process
• Excellent proven track record working on large scale projects while in the mechanical discipline
• Be able to work in harsh and remote environments
