This leading gold producer has well established gold mines throughout Australia and South East Asia with a number of exciting expansion projects in the pipeline. Currently they are looking for an Electrical Reliability Engineer to join their well established Engineering team in Central West NSW.
This residential position has you reporting to the Reliability Engineering Manager where you will be responsible for the ongoing reliability of new and existing electrical infrastructure and equipment. There is a specific focus on fixed mineral processing and handling equipment such as crushers, grinders, motors, drives and conveyors as well as critical electrical power systems infrastructure including substations, switchgear, switchboards and protection panels.
To be successful in this position you must have:-

• An Electrical Engineering Degree
• Proven ability to develop, maintain and compile asset reliability, critical and condition information necessary for reliability planning, delivery and maintenance strategies
• Undertake asset condition data for critical path analysis to predict maintenance plans of assets.
• Comply with company policy and procedures
• A proven background in a mineral processing environment such as gold, silver, copper, nickel etc.
• A working appreciation of electrical fault finding and conditioning monitoring techniques.
• Experience in reliability engineer methodologies including Root Cause Analysis and DMAIC
• For your efforts you will be rewarded with a salary package $140,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses and relocation assistance. In addition you will gain experience working for one of Australia's leading mining companies, providing you with genuine career development and progression opportunities.
