About Our Client
Our client is a long established resource, environmental and land use planning consultancy specializing in the quarry and mining sector. With a key focus on lifecycle development, they focus on each stage of site development from resource investigation, pit development and environmental monitoring and management to post extraction land use development and master planning.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work within a team of professionals accountable for planning, implementing resources investigations, quarry assessment certification and JORC assessments. Key duties will include;
Sampling, mapping & grade control;
HSE responsibilities and;
General day to day planning requirements.
This role is in Queensland.
It offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Quarry Geologist who is ready to take the next step in their career. As the role covers development of an expansing market covering a range of mining challenges.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will need to have, sound communication, leadership and relation building skills with a strong numerical aptitude. You will also require to have sound knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations as well as solid knowledge of resource investigations, quarry assessment certification, JORC assessments.
