Our client is a global engineering consultancy that specialise in offering engineering, project management and operation solutions to energy and resources industries. With an impressive ongoing domestic and international project portfolio, and new projects commencing in 2012, our client are now looking to expand their established Perth based team.

Job Description
As Lead Electrical Engineer your key role responsibility will be to lead the design of high voltage transmission and distribution networks. You will also be expected to contribute to the preparation of electrical estimates for capital costs and labour requirements to ensure the cost effective and timely delivery of electrical milestones. Another key aspect of the role will be to coordinate and support the activities of other electrical engineers and commissioning teams as well as providing leadership to junior engineers and to construction contractors on site.

The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the position of Lead Electrical Engineer you will posses the following:

• An intimate knowledge of electrical standards and statutory requirements.
• A positive communication and a determined leadership style.
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Have heavy industrial experience in design, operations or projects.
• Preferably, you will have a broad working knowledge of power, control, instrumentation and communication systems.
