Heavy Industrial Estimator

As part of their commitment to continuously optimise efficiency of operations and return on capital investment, this well-known mining organisation has recently committed to undertake a major upgrade of their existing mine processing facilities in remote South Australia. Recruitment for this project is now under way, and in addition to a large technical engineering contingency, we are now looking to add an experienced Estimator to the team.


An essential part of the successful, and on budget, completion of this project the Estimator will be directly reporting to the Commercial Manager in order to facilitate efficient decision making and avoid cost over runs. Your primary responsibility within the project team will be to provide accurate estimates, ensure documentation is in line with project scope and participate in auditing supply contracts and quotes. It is expected that you have already had significant experience on large scale mine projects in Australia, ideally within heavy industrial project teams. A commitment to OHS and ability to effectively work within a close knit and deadline focused team environment - is essential.


Contract is initially offered on a 4-6 months basis with a strong possibility of being offered further opportunities on other on-site projects. FIFO is on a 10/4 roster from Adelaide and interstate points of hire may be considered for the right candidate.
