Environmental Superintendent

This international mining company who is continuing to make their mark as a true leader in the Australian resources industry is now seeking an Environmental Superintendentto spear head their environmental policies and procedures.


Reporting to the Environmental Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that current government environmental guidelines are adhered to. You will be responsible for the effective implementation and maintenance of water, waste and biodiversity management systems by leading a team of environmental advisors, engineers, hydrologists and support staff. 


To be successful you will have a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related field combined with extensive experience implementing environmental management systems for metalliferous mines. It is desirable that you have experience leading teams and have the ability to communicate both up and down the management ladder.
