Mining Engineer

The Opportunity:
This company is one of Australia's newest Mining Organisations and owns several mines throughout Australia. This Open Cut Mine is one of the most modern and progressive coal mines in Australia with a life span expected of 12 years and significant career opportunities. They are currently seeking a Mining Engineer.

The Responsibilities:
As a Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for providing guidance to the Senior Engineer and Mine Planning Superintendent.  You will do this through expert planning and scheduling and will be called upon to show your initiative in the workplace. High performance and efficient productivity is a standout at this mine and so too is the focus on safety.

The Qualifications:
Previous experience in an Open Cut metals mine is a must as well as the following:-

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• 3 years minimum experience
• Knowledge and experience with Surpac
