Senior Administrator Programming/Business Intelligence IS&T

Position Summary

• The applicant will perform data warehousing activities for [Company]  enterprise systems, including monitoring, maintenance, documentation, and development tasks.  The primary warehouse environment is the SAP Business Warehouse system.
• Additionally, the applicant will perform business intelligence-related tasks, including dashboard and analysis report maintenance.  The primary BI environment is the SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform system.  As needed, the applicant will also perform SQL-based query development, web technology development, and miscellaneous programming activities.  The applicant will work with other IS&T personnel and end business users to promote and enhance their enterprise reporting experience. The applicant is expected to have good communication skills and the ability to develop a functional understanding of the various areas of reporting.

Target Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduled data warehousing processes.  Resolve loading issues.
• Perform maintenance activities on data warehouse structures.
• Perform Business Objects platform maintenance activities, including dashboard data validation against source systems.
• Provide assistance to users regarding Business Warehouse and Business Objects toolset.
• Work with senior group members on report, dashboard, and BI services development.
• Develop web pages and SQL queries as needed to fulfill miscellaneous requests.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science)
• 1-2 years# experience in database maintenance or report development
• Working knowledge of SAP software, relational databases, and OLAP concepts
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
