Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description:

• Environmental Services company needs (2) Heavy Equipment Operators to work on a Superfund project. The project site is in Campbell Hall, NY just outside of Newburgh. This person will be responsible operating excavators, dozers, loaders and possibly and articulated dump truck. He or she needs a minimum of 1 year of HEO experience, preferably on an environmental remediation project, and a current OSHA 40-Hour and Medical Monitoring cert. No respirator will be needed.
• Company is removing non-hazardous contaminants from a site where an old chemical plant from the 1950s dumped waste. The contaminants are considered "residual." The client is de watering the site, treating the water, pumping through hoses, monitoring discharge, removing contaminated soil, backfilling the soil, using onsite transport trucks etc. Candidates will be responsible for operating the machinery responsible for this effort.
