Grinder III

About the Job

• Set-up and operate crush form grinders to grind threads and deburr threaded parts. Inspect parts to specifications using various gauges, micrometers, optical comparator, etc.
• Must know the Centerless grinders, thread terminology, dimensions and measuring tools.
• Required to use the Landis and Royal Master Crush form grinders.
• Must able to read blue prints.
• Must be self-motivated, flexible and have good communication skills.
• Must be knowledgeable of applicable safety requirements pertaining to the safe operation of the Centerless Grinders.
• Must be able to read blue prints, follow work order instructions and use the proper measuring tools.
• Must have knowledge of grinding T / D Angle head and Button head parts and understanding of head protrusion gauging.
• Must have the following skills: Hand feeding using a Head Stop, Profile Grinding.
• SPC knowledge highly desirable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of 5 years of experience.
