Process Manager

This Process Manager opportunity will see you working in a rapidly growing, dynamic company with an exciting future. Reporting to an experienced General Manager, you will be instrumental in setting up in a new process plant and will have the autonomy to make this plant truly your own. You will complement the General Manager and will step in for him when he is off site, managing up to 120 staff in total. 
 
This gold operation is at the start of its mine life; the current processing facility is small but will be increasing its output up to 1million tonnes per annum. Your day to day responsibilities will include; overseeing and ensuring the safety of the processing staff, reporting on production and plant performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, holding daily production, maintenance and management meetings, setting targets and overseeing/guiding performance. This is a technically hands on role, working with the processing team and metallurgist to identify opportunities for improvements and plant optimisation. You will also have responsibility for overseeing the ROM pad. Your direct reports include a Mill Foreman, a metallurgist, 4 shift supervisors and a maintenance team. 
 
The successful candidate will be an experienced Process Manager or Process Superintendent with a good understanding of gold and CIL processing. A metallurgical degree would benefit your application (candidates without the degree but with a good hands on knowledge will still be considered).  You will have excellent leadership and management experience having managed large teams. You will be motivated and ambitious, looking to grow with the company.
