Role
You are an experienced IRMS Service Engineer or current operator of Gas Isotope Ratio Instrumentation who is seeking employment with high quality equipment. You will be part of a Service team based in Sydney and you will undertake installation, repair, preventive maintenance and technical support of a range of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) products. In addition to this you will be responsible for customer training, application support, customer satisfaction of products and services, follow-up, service agreements and instrument upgrades.         
 
Essential to your success are:
  • Tertiary qualified in a Science Discipline - Geology or Chemistry
  • Specialized technical skills on Isotope Ratio Analysis Techniques and Applications
  • Familiarity with isodat software
  • Proven and substantial experience working in a Technical Support role
  • Must have excellent communication skills with an affinity for working closely with internal and external customers
  • Previous experience working with analytical scientific instrumentation in particular IRMS
  • Possess the ability to perform effective system level troubleshooting in the field of instrumentation and informatics
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and meet agreed deadlines
