Shaft Rigger

Mining company based in North West is looking to fill the position of a qualified Rigger

Description:

• Ensure the smooth running of the respective sections with regards to production.
• Facilitate all rigging activities in the plant.
• Responsible for conducting daily equipment inspections and the necessary legal requirements for lifting equipment on the plant.
• Adhere to stipulated safety guidelines.
• Control rigging and lifting of heavy equipment for respective plants and thereby ensuring minimum plant downtime with maximum performance

Requirements

• Matric
• Trade Test in Rigging Certificate
• 2-5 years experience in Industrial environment
• N3 Qualification
• Previous experience in conducting risk assessments within area of expertise.
