The Materials Manager will report to the Operations Manager, and be responsible for managing a team tasked with maximising customer service levels within the Toowoomba region. You will be responsible for providing a central point of contact for inventory management in the region and includes the responsibilities for responding to all customer queries. There is also a strong interface with and between gathering implementation materials, engineering, procurement, contracts and project controls teams, energy and mining projects, and representatives from warehouse/laydown areas. 


To be successful in this role, you will ideally display relevant tertiary qualifications with significant operations/logistics experience across a national supply chain network. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships are also vital to this role. With a broad base knowledge in Supply Chain and Operational functions, along with experience in warehouse management systems, your proven ability to influence cross-functionally between all departments of an organisation will then be critical to your success.
