Aftermarket Field Coordinator

Diversified Mining Services (DMS) is a leading provider of services to the Australian mining industry with extensive experience in the provision of services and equipment for the operation, maintenance and support of open cut and underground mining.


An excellent opportunity has become available for an Aftermarket Field Coordinator to join the DMS team, for an immediate start.


This position is responsible for overseeing the field service operations, including troubleshooting, customer liaison, co-ordination of documentation and reporting disciplines, cost and revenue control.


The position will be based in Mackay and will require some local and interstate travel.


We are seeking candidates who have:

• A Trade certificate and/or Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) with relevant industry experience with Underground coal diesel machinery
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of components and systems associated with underground diesel machinery
• High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to conform to all company and site safety and environmental management plans
• To be successful in this role, you will need to be a self starter with the proven ability to lead/coach a small team, ensuring processes and procedures are followed. This Coordinators role will see you hit the ground running so your extensive practical knowledge and skills, gained through industry experience, will be put to immediate use.
