Randstad CPE are currently recruiting trade qualified Boilermakers/Welders with significant experience in mining, oil and gas projects. Heavy fabrication workshop experience is Highly regarded.
Due to increased workload several opportunities exist for staff in the southern suburbs. Upon successful completion of weld test and drug screen.
Role details:
- Heavy workshop based environment
- Southern location
- Assignment based role
- Day shift, afternoon shift, plus penalties
- Welding heavy mining machinery/equipment
- High load bearing machinery, all welds are tested and x-rayed regularly.
- Uncompromised attention to OH&S policies and procedures
The right candidate will possess following criteria:
- Self starter that takes pride in the end result
- Demonstrate a solid awareness of OH&S practices
- Must be trade qualified boilermaker/welder
- Must have solid Flux core welding experience
- Must have solid Oxy cutting experience
- Must be able to read and fabricate from complex engineering drawings
- On offer to successful candidates:
- Remuneration negotiable based on experience
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- All roles are subject to Randstad’s screening process, which includes a functional capacity test, drug and alcohol screen.
