About the Role: 

In this position you will be involved with project work, assist and work with development of risk management processes, track mine subsidence and cave propagation, deal with new technology for cave monitoring, conduct numerical modeling with a focus on rock response and behaviour, and interpret data from the open pit monitoring systems, TDR monitors and seismic system. At all times you will be required to work to the highest standards of safety performance.


About You: 

In order to be successful in this role you will need a tertiary degree in mine, geotechnical or civil engineering, with at least 3-5 year experience in an underground geotechnical role. The ideal candidate will also have experience in a underground cave mining operation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are also imperative.
