Training Co-Ordinator

A leading metalliferous producer with a number of sites across Australia is seeing continued growth and consequently requires an experienced Training Coordinator to join their team.
 
Reporting into the Health & Safety Manager you will be working in a dedicated team to ensure that mines operations adhere to the best Health and Safety practices. Your primary responsibility will be the development and implementation of training packages and procedures as well as updating inductions programs. You will assist and manage the Trainer Assessor in the induction of new employees with a special emphasis on the training of operators especially truck drivers. Drawing from your comprehensive knowledge of OH&S you will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining site wide safety initiatives.


To be successful it is essential that you have a tertiary qualification within Occupational Health & Safety and possess a Certificate IV Trainer and Assessor. It will be highly advantageous that you have demonstrated experience working at an open pit mine site and come from an operating background.
