Mine Planning Engineer

Distinguished as a leading mine and materials company, this global trader is currently experiencing major growth in iron ore exports. To capitalise on this opportunity production expansions are underway and a highly sought position has become available for a Mine Planning Engineer in South Australia. 
 
You will be responsible for actively contributing to the overall planning of the mine, developing plans for the day to day operations, weekly and monthly periods. This position will require you to work directly alongside your team of highly skilled contractors, geologists and surveyors as you perform your work. Suitable qualifications in mine engineering are required, with sound work place experience behind you. In order to fulfil your role, you will need to demonstrate skills in at least one of the following MS Office softwares: Surpac, Vulcan, MineSched and X-pac.    
 
This recently opened mine is situated along South Australia’s precious coastline. You will be relocated to this growing community, which is flourishing off recent developments to the area. The successful applicant will be offered a permanent contract, with an immediate commencement date.
