Project Manager Mining

Due to an exciting Greenfield project underway with one of our lead owner/ operator clients, a permanent opportunity exists for an experienced  Underground project manager
The project is a multi-billion dollar development incorporating study phases followed by engineering and construction of an underground mine.
This position will be responsible for leading a large team of technical professionals, working along side the study manager  focusing on the pre feasibility stage to bankable feasibility stage. This role will also oversee the development of a decline and associated infrastructure.

• Proven experience in commissioning of an underground mining operation
• Strong problem identification and solving skills
• Block caving experience (Desirable)
• 15 years experience in mining operations or projects
• PFS and FEES studies in underground mines
• delivery of underground projects including shaft and decline development and associated infrastructure and facilities
• Operations management for underground mining
