Senior Metallurgist

An opportunity is available to work in an ASX listed, well established and profitable international company with operations in South East Asia. They are currently looking for a Senior Metallurgist to complement their processing team and motivate the national workforce. This is a Gold CIL operation in a desirable central location which is excellently positioned for travelling opportunities in your break.


Working in a recently commissioned operation you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, modifying and improving metallurgical strategies and performance.  A key aspect of this role will be to ensure a safe environment for employees whilst maximising metals recovery and cost effectiveness of the process plant operation.


Your outstanding leadership and coaching skills will be critical to the ongoing development and performance of a relatively inexperienced but very keen and willing local workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to really make a difference and see your team grow and develop as a direct result of your efforts.


To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Metallurgist with good understanding of Gold CIL operations. A degree related to Metallurgy is a necessity for this role. Expat experience is preferred but not essential.
