Mining Manager, Gold, Excellent base + housing allowance + bills + vehicle

The Company:

This relatively small gold mining company are currently investing millions in to new developments and they are looking for a Mine Manager to lead their flagship operation.

The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the management of the senior leadership team, to ensure the optimised production and performance of the mine in a safe environment.

You will be accountable for safety, site security, leadership, mine planning, mine production and business improvement; all of which will be measured via regular auditing and the success of your team.

The Requirements:

To be successful in this role you must have previous management / supervisory experience and have an excellent working knowledge of a gold mine, ideally on a mechanised narrow vein operation. You will hold a degree in Mining Engineering and will have preferably achieved your Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency.
