Pre-sales Support Engineer/Executive - Software, Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources

Company responsible for the sales and delivery of Engineering Technology Software Solutions require a Pre-sales Support Engineer/Executive - Software, Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources.


The role duties and task will cover:
  • Pre-sales Support Engineer/Executive - Software, Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources.
  • In this role you will play a leading role in technology sales and will have in depth experience preferable within the oil and gas technology sector.
  • Ability to interact with customers at engineering, management and executive levels.
  • Pre-sales, technical support and account engagement.
  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities on chosen bid & proposal undertakings and responsible for new business pursuit & strategy reviews to management.
  • Work with appropriate internal departments to support complex RFP’s and establish a professional, working relationship with internal teams.


Your experience and background should cover the following:
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, science or technical based.
  • Proven background in technology and software solution pre-sales support into the Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources and Engineering sectors.
  • Specific product knowledge may cover – GIS based systems, Scientific Measurement Software, Modeling Software, Imaging solutions/software for Seismic applications, Geotechnical data correlation/collection software and solutions, Topography Software Solutions, Geospatial Software Solutions etc
  • A proven track record of pre-sales and technical support
