Senior Civil Engineer

Having forged strong relationships with all major players in the burgeoning energy sector in South East Queensland, our client is ideally positioned as the industry inevitably matures from the Surat Basin to bring production to marketable levels. Before this can happen, a huge body of work is required to provide the infrastructure designs necessary to realise these outcomes; which is where our client comes in.

Located in Dalby, at the heart of the South East Queensland Gas plays, our client is increasingly being chosen as the engineering design partner for civil works associated with the industry. As business levels continue to grow, a new opportunity has been created for a Senior Civil Engineer keen to get into the industry. Successful applicants must be either based in Dalby or prepared to relocate for this role, you will also need at least 8 years of post-graduate Design Engineering experience and be able to demonstrate evidence of your design involvement in complex civil infrastructure works as they relate to CSG/LNG, mining or similar heavy industries.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• RPEQ or equivalent advantageous
• At least 8 years experience working as a Civil Engineer in the consulting sector
• Strong technical knowledge of resources related infrastructure
• Proven leadership qualities
